Katie Rendon is a current MPA Candidate at the Evans School of Public Policy and Governance at the University of Washington. Katie has strong international and domestic program management experience mainly focused on leadership development. She is passionate about development policy and programs that catalyze leadership and entrepreneurship-skills based learning.
Prior to joining Cultural Heritage Partners, Katie was the first Program Manager for Jolkona, a Seattle-based nonprofit running entrepreneurship programming for social business leaders from emerging countries. She has lived and worked in East Africa for an international education company called ThinkImpact. While in Rwanda, she facilitated programs for university-aged students interested in rural community development. She is a graduate of George Mason University with a B.A. in International Affairs. She had the opportunity to continue to work at George Mason for two years upon graduation at the George Mason Center for Social Entrepreneurship as their Program Director, mainly leading the Social Innovation Program, a summer institute for high-achieving university students focused on social entrepreneurship topics.
