Restitution of Art Acquired Under Colonial Rule: Panel Discussion Hosted by USC Law

CHP attorney Olga Symeonoglou recently participated in a panel discussion with Ndubuisi Ezeluomba, curator of African art at the New Orleans Museum of Art, and Dan Hicks, professor at the University of Oxford and curator at the Pitt Rivers Museum. The panelists discussed the history and legal context of art looted or acquired during colonial rule, and also talked about how countries, museums, and other institutions should approach this sensitive and important issue.
